The end of World War One

The Armistice 11th November 1918

The First World War ended at 11.00 on the 11th November 1918.

As this year is the 100th anniversary of the end of WW1 we will be looking carefully at the end of the war, using primary sources to learn more about the terrible conditions in which men were fighting.

The Treaty of Versailles 1919

The Treaty of Versailles was intended to prevent a war happening again. We will be looking at how to solve arguments and what level of punishment is enough to deter a repeat but not so much that it causes more problems.
